Wildlife Dining Deterent- if you are having trouble with local wildlife eating your flowers and shrubs try this formula:
Mix the following:
1/3 epson salts
1/3 brown listerine (Walmart’s equate brand is the same thing and priced a bit better)
1/3 flat beer
Liberally spray the human non-edible plants… and it works like a charm. Remember to respray after a rain. This formula can be used on vegetable plants as well. Spray the plants directly before the actual vegetable or fruit comes out and afterwards just spray the ground around the plant. Indoor plants can summer outdoors with the same treatment.
Tip:
If the beer is not flat when making the mix, just let the bottle set without fully tightening the top. You can also add the membranes and seeds of hot peppers when you have them around.
